Heather Mae French is an IFBB Figure Pro from Little Rock, Arkansas.
You wouldn't know it to look at her, but she stands 5'3 and weighs 103 pounds.
In 2008, Heather was named one of the top eight figure pros to watch by FigureRX Magazine.
And looking at her it's no wonder why.
She is ripped, tight and compact with beautiful blue eyes.
And looking at her contest history, she seems to just keep getting better.

And talk about humble beginnings, she started out watching Denise Austin on the Lifetime channel and buying "Buns of Steel" videotapes.

I did an entry on Sherry Goggin (Sherry Goggin Giardina) back in 2007 but this lady is definitely worth another look.
She was popular in the muscle magazines back in the 90's and she is still going strong without missing a step.
Sherry is a Ms. Fitness America Champion from Chattanooga, Tennessee and she has an incredible lean, shapely and muscular physique.
She is an actress, spokesmodel, real estate agent, and the VP of the Trainers Association.
Sherry has appeared in Physical, Ironman, Oxygen and BUILT magazines among many more.

Angela has had a stunning career with the WNBF in the past, but now that organization has banned her.

Nora Girones

Spanish fitness competitor Nora Girones.

Nora Girones went from singing to bodybuilding.
I don't think that's a transition we've had on here before.
Usually it's gymnast or swimmer or something like that.
She appeared on "Popstars", pretty much the Spanish equivalent of "American Idol".

Cory Everson Revisited

This is Cory Everson's third appearance on this blog and I think rightly so.

Retiring from competition after winning six consecutive Ms. Olympia titles, Cory tried her hand at acting.
Her first film appearance was in the 1986 movie "The Morning After" as Miss Olympia.
Double Impact in 1991 was her second movie. In that movie, she played Kara, a ruthless, muscular henchwoman to the main badguy.
In 1994, she was in Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers as the TV Mallory.
She appeared in the 1995 film Ballistic. (Not the 2002 film with Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu.)
In 1996, she was in the movie Felony as Sondra with B-movie legends (and two of my favorite actors) Jeffrey Combs and Lance Henriksen.

On TV, Cory appeared twice as Katrina Schwenke in The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (starring another of my favorite actors, Bruce Campbell).
She also appeared in Renegade, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (three times as Atalanta), Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, Home Improvement and Charmed as the Hulk Paige.

Of course Cory was the original host of the ESPN2 fitness show, BodyShaping that also included Deprise Brescia, Kiana Tom, Jennifer Dempster, Rick Valente, Kendell Hogan, Mary Jean Traetta and Laurie Donnelly.

And for awhile she had her own exercise show on ESPN, Cory Everson's Gotta Sweat.

Joanie Laurer, Chyna

Before she became the "The Ninth Wonder of the World" Joanie Laurer aka Chyna tried her hand at fitness competitions.
According to everything I've read, she didn't do well, but I think that's because with her size and build, she should have focused on Bodybuilding instead.
But the fitness worlds loss was pro wrestling's gain and she soon appeared on the then WWF as Triple H's bodyguard valet.

Joanie started out lifting weights and working out as a way to get away from the domestic turmoil at home.
But it wasn't really until she met Gerry Blais, a bodybuilder at World Gym in Londonderry, New Hampshire that things took off for her.
She dove into training and entered fitness competitions.
The only ones I could really find were the 1994 ESPN Fitness America Competition and the 1996 New York City regional of the Fitness America Pageant.

Ocean Bloom, Another Look

And here we have actress, certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, female fitness model and fitness champion, Ocean Bloom.
Ocean is one of those women that have been able to combine size with a sleek, powerful physique.
The last time I featured her I didn't say much about the movie work this beautiful lady has done, so let me correct that.
She appeared in "Stargate SG-1" four times, three of those were as a female Jaffa.
If you watched Stargate you know what a Jaffa is.
If you didn't watch it, think "Female Warrior".
Ocean has also appeared in "Psych" twice and she appeared in the 2002 movie I Spy.

In print, Ocean has appeared in in Musclemag, Ironman, Oxygen, Natural Bodybuilding, Woman’s Physique World, Healthy Living Guide and Shared Vision.

Ocean has a long contest history in women's fitness competitions starting with a 1st place win in the 1997 BodyMax Bodybuilding competition.
That was followed by 1st place wins at the 1997 BC Junior Bodybuilding Championship, the 1998 BC Fitness competition, the 2000 World Natural Sports Fitness competition, the 2003 Fitness America West, the 2005 FAME World's Pro Fitness, the 2007 FAME Naturals Pro Figure and the 2007 FAME National Muscle.

This striking young lady is Pauline Nordin.
She is an IFBB fitness competitor, pro figure athlete, fitness model, certified fitness trainer and journalist.
Pauline was born on July 23, 1982 in Ystad, Sweden.
She was the Swedish trainer in the version of the TV show Biggest Loser and she was in the pilot for Sunset Tan on E!
Pauline has also been in and on the cover of several magazines, among them Oxygen, BODY and Ironman.
She began training in 1999 and began competing in 2002.
This young lady has maybe one of the most perfect sleek overall looks.

Whew, that's a long description for one lady.
And this lady has done a lot.
Ocean was born on November 18 1977 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
She started dance at the age of 5.
As a fitness model she has appeared on the cover and inside Ironman, Oxygen, Planet Muscle, Muscle Mag, Bodytalk, American Curves, Natural Bodybuilding and others.
As a pro fitness athlete, she won the Bodymax Bodybuilding Competition, the BC Junior Bodybuilding Competition, BC Fitness Competition, World Natural Sports Competition, Fitness America West Fitness, Fame's World Pro Fitness, Fame Nationals Pro Figure and Fames National Muscle Model and placed in several more competitions.
On TV she has appeared in two of my favorite shows, Psych and Stargate.

Diana Dennis

Former female bodybuilder Diana Dennis was born on July 12, 1951.
She began competing in local contests in 1981. Her earliest success was in mixed pairs competition, with partner Kevin Lawrence. They won several titles, including the 1985 IFBB World Amateur competition. Diana earned her pro card by winning the overall title at the 1985 NPC Nationals. She then established herself as one of the top professional competitors by finishing third in the Ms. Olympia later that year. She competed in a total of nine Ms. Olympia contests, finishing outside the top ten only once. As a pro, Diana won the 1986 Los Angeles Pro Championship and the 1989 Pro World Championship.
She was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2001.

Carmen Unger

Canadian Bodybuilder, Carmen Unger
Carmen is not only a a bodybuilder, but also a certified Fitness and Resistance trainer.
She manages a gym in Manitoba, Canada.
Carmen has had first place finishes at the Manitoba Provincials twice and the Canadian Nationals twice.
